The jewel box
Although Uruguay is one of South America's
smallest countries, it is worth spending years travelling around, because the country surprises
with a great diversity every day.
In expectation of finding veins of silver spanish colonists settled down at the riverside of the
'Rio de la Plata' which separates Uruguay from Argentina. They could not find any silver though,
but a territory which provided perfect conditions
for field and stock farming.
The beauty of Uruguay is beyond all questions.
